This seems like a typical enough question, yet searching because that "connector" I might only discover this connector on residence Depot"s site, i m sorry is from 3/8" to "M22". I"m not sure why "M22" is referred to as that way, yet its diameter is supposedly 14mm, which isn"t specifically 1/2".
You are watching: 1/2 to 3/8 faucet adapter
Brass nipples on house Depot"s website seem come come only in the very same diameter on both ends, e.g. 1/2".
(As you could suspect, I"m originally from Europe and have rather a bit of disdain for the imperial system and the united state hanging on to it when the whole rest that the people uses metric.)

You need a brass connector. "1/2" female steel pipe" (1/2" FIP) is the dimension of the woman connector top top the finish of the water tap coming the end of the sink plate in her picture; "3/8" mrs compression" is the dimension of the connector on the finish of the water tap coming out of the faucet in your picture. You need a 1/2" MIP (male iron pipe) X 3/8" masculine compression adapter. Super common at any kind of hardware store, er... Have to I to speak "ironmonger shop"?
